Ventura, CA

We love our city.  Who wouldn’t?  We are all seconds from

the beach and minutes from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. 

Ventura has a small town feeling with all the amenities of a

big city, some of the greatest surf spots on the west coast,

and the coolest, most laid back people we know.

However, we currently know that nearly 90% of people in

Ventura find church irrelevant and out of touch with their lives. 

It’s our goal at Catalyst to be a church that people actually

enjoy being a part of as they connect with God,

find good friends, and get involved in community service.

Our Church

Simple.  Relevant.  Real. 

We do things simply, we speak your language, and we are a church full of real people.  We don’t take ourselves too seriously.  And we dislike hypocrisy as much as you do.

What we do take seriously is our God, our faith, and our passion to communicate and live the message of Jesus in a way that is actually understandable and attractive to the world.

A catalyst, by definition is a substance that causes or accelerates activity between two or more persons or forces.  A catalyst precedes change.  Our church is a catalyst for:

Intimacy with God - we want every person to have a deep, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Authentic Relationships - we want every person to feel connected to others.

Community Transformation - we want to be a blessing to the community through love and good deeds.

Leadership Development - we want every person to be empowered to serve according to their giftedness and at their highest potential.

Church Planting - we want to see more churches with our vision planted throughout the world.
