Chris Hall - Lead Pastor

Chris and Sierra Hall never considered the idea of planting a church until three years ago. In the city of Ventura, where they call home, church planting was rarely heard of. It was through conversations with some atheist friends, and a general feeling of stagnation from Christian friends that the idea of a new kind of church surfaced. As God confirmed in their hearts that this was the right move, they began to pray and discuss the idea of starting a new church. God has since given them a vision for a new church committed to the cause of Christ, community, and global transformation.

Chris moved to Ventura in 1997 to pursue his calling to youth ministry upon graduation from UCSB. He and his wife, Sierra, were married in the Spring of 2000. While serving at First Baptist Church of Ventura as the Student Ministries Pastor, he acquired his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and was privileged to lead a healthy and growing youth ministry for nearly 10 years. Chris loves surfing, playing basketball at the gym, guitar, home improvement, and playing with their two children.
